We began in 1988 as a small seafood stand on a street corner in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora. Juan Diego Cota Cota's father worked as a waiter at the renowned “Los Arbolitos” in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, and that inspired him to dream of a restaurant that celebrated family, tradition and flavor. Together they made it real, starting with fresh shrimp and fish sales and growing into a celebrated place to eat.
Today there are over 18 locations in Mexico, plus Phoenix and Glendale. Every one follows the same founding principles: fresh, flavorful dishes, and the warmth and hospitality that make every guest feel at home.

The years have brought challenges, including what the pandemic did to restaurants. True to our roots, we answered with generosity and service, supporting our team and community and bringing meals to those who needed them. Our founder Don Diego Cota said it this way:
